. . .parents, grandparents, and guardians like you who want to help our teenagers thrive in excellent San Juan Unified School District high schools, at home, and in our community. We are also parents of recent SJUSD graduates.
We began in 2009 as a small group of parents from just one high school who met monthly at a neighborhood coffee house. As parents from other district high schools began to join us we came to understand that we all share many of the same experiences and goals. Today we have grown to welcome parents of students from all of our comprehensive district high schools: Bella Vista, Casa Roble, Del Campo, El Camino, Encina, Mesa Verde, Mira Loma, Rio Americano, and San Juan. Now we meet monthly for coffee and conversation in a welcoming library community room, but more important, we learn a lot from each other, and we help each other improve education for all of our district's high school students.
Our meetings are held in the morning on the third Wednesday of each month during the school year. Contact us using the form at the right if you're interested in attending our next meeting.
